Celtic Thread - 2021/22

So onto tomorrow and the lifting of the trophy everyone wanted. A celebration of the team and in particular the big Aussie bastard who built it. The board, not known for getting much right are about to offer him a well deserved long term-contract and no plaudits for that from me. If they didn’t they would be even bigger useless cunts than I already know them to be.

no more board/ Lawell Desmond buying players. Leave it to a guy who knows what a player looks like. Everyone will be a lot happier. If he wants a player to move us forward, fucking back him, or fuck off.
Ange was a very shrewd appointment. He has performed everywhere he has managed and plays a decent brand of football. I’m sure the CFG are aware of him from his time in Japan when City played that pre season friendly. He is bit unheralded in UK/European circles, but I always thought when Pep leaves he could be the sort of coach/Manager that City should look at.

Celtic will concede at least twenty goals in their Champions League group. Klopp’s mob could score an even bigger aggregate score of twelve than PSG managed against Celtic if they are drawn in the same group.
Zero wins out of six.
I love the smell of Sevco tears in the morning.

Even if that bollocks comes true, at least we beat you to get the £40+m, money you had already banked and spent. And we will return to this as the season progresses, to see if your prediction is any better than what you thought would happen this season. Here’s a wee song for you to cheer you up.

We’re on the top of the League
Looking down on The Rangers
And the only explanation I can find
Is the form we have found
Ever since Anges been around
And we’re sitting on the top of the league.

In 2003 Celtic were in a final in Seville.

Many of them stayed in a town nearby where I live. After losing they behaved impeccably, I had a few drinks with some of them.

29 years on Rangers are here, let's see how they behave.
Let us know how it goes. I hope it’s the same.

Let’s hope not for four or five years. He has been brilliant and the nut is so much sweeter after all the declarations of a 1,000 year Reich for our pals. They are now trying to pretend everything is better due to getting to Seville. Not a single **** buys that but it is to be expected. Makes it even better laugh wise though. Every cloud.

We still might get a share of that money, still got 2 chances to get to Champions League. ;)

Looking forward to lifting the trophy today. A trophy that our pals were all convinced would not be back for years. Ten titles in eleven years. But they are the team. Fucking delusional. But, hang about, it’s next year they will win it now. Or the year after that. But certainly soon. Ange has just begun. I will repeat that, Ange has just begun, he wins it under so much pressure with so many new players, but it’s them next year. Go figure.

I have no idea. Just wish him well and thanks for all the goals.
Appears to have been more a bench player this season, though not on account of injury. Has he visibly slowed/weakened or has Celtic’s football simply evolved to the point that he is no longer suited?

He played more games and minutes than any other season. He was brilliant this year.
