Celtic Thread - 2021/22

We will be without, mcGreggor, Kyogo, Maeda, Rogic and Gucci. So its just a matter of getting on with it. Young O'Reily looked great, Gio did well lsst night and scored a grrat goal as Souter would have blocked a shot, so the back heel was class. We need to get Julien in as Sterfelt is s bombscare, but having Hatate and Oreily means we can still create and Jota is in the mood. He will cause you problems. Our issue is we miss far too many chances. I know you will join me in hoping we score them all next Wednesdsy..:)

I was surprised at Celtics lack of fitness last night.
Any reason behind it.

Yeah, your new signings in general settling in well. Jota looks a real handful as well, he looks very dangerous, we'll do well to keep him quiet. Thought Hatate started well, then went out the game a bit.

Like that Hearts lad Baningimie when he came on, I'd be keeping tabs on him as a potential Kamara replacement if he keeps up his good form (not meaning to disrespect the Hearts lads in here).

Look like we are getting Diallo in from Man Utd on loan, just happy to get a body in at this stage. He looked exciting when he joined Utd for big money.

New players, 7 changes. It will takd time to be able to cope. Plus we handled everything they threw for the last 15. If we score half of our chances we could get the deckchairs out. What Ange wants I think is full pelt for 60 then have the quality to bring another 5 on if needed to keep that up. Its not a lack of fitness, its a different level of intensity that they need to adjust to. They will and when they do, its party time. Lll

Well it beats watching paint dry. And that's Rangers every game. Utterly shite to watch. 7 months here and it's going so much better than we expected and if you're not worried you will be back to choking on our dust when Ange really gets going, then you're deluding yourself. We have a betyrr midfield thN you before the signings. We have better strikers and if we win the league, you will be getting players out of lucky bags. I bet Gio doesn't get three years of being handed his arse either.
 
Well I followed my usual routine. Tape the Rangers, watch it until they score then return to cheer Dross County. I will watch the whole game later to assess where they are. Two points dropped. Lovely Saturday so far. Lets cut it to 2 today Celtic, then go top on Wednesday and stay there until we lift the flag.

I can summarise. We were pish 1st half, actually came out and played 2nd half until we got 3-2 up, then tried to see it out and got punished again from a set piece. Shite really.

We were fucking woeful too. Late goal a massive psychological lift, but we have so many first team out and I am not filled with confidence. Full team I honestly think we would hammer you, all the changes, I ain't even on the same chapter never mind page as that level of confidence. Will be having a few malts before it, that's a fucking cert.

The sloppy goals weve conceded this year is ridiculous. Looks a year too far for Mcgregor, and Bassey just looks like what he is, a full back playing out of position.

Both teams will have that many players out that the game is a bit of a lottery still. One thing is for sure, for us to get anything at all out the game we need to defend a hell of a lot better than we have been.

Honestly don't know Jim, he was shocking today. He's been shakey all season to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if we go for the Dundee Utd keeper as a replacement for next season.
 
Throughout my time watching my team we have scored vital late goals. We are known for it. Fight to the end is in our DNA. Sometimes shit managers or board cunts do their best to ruin that, but it just needs the right guy. A guy who unites the team, a support to believe. Ange is one of those men. Just over 7 months in situ and we have gone from on the canvas, to back on our feet. From taking punches to throwing them again. From playing football in a way that crushes your heart, to playing with skill, pace and attitude.

We all thought we were behind the 8 ball. But Ange Ball has shattered that in 7 months. All the laughing and farting about Ange has subsided, replaced by oh fuck this guy could fuck us up.

We go in on Wednesday without five of our best players. Even if that proves too much, we will still be in it, because when we are all guns blazing, its still on. If we win on Wednesday and then have all our players back, I am confident we will run a savvy.

So many teams have been unkucky not to get a result against them. So I am hoping even with our reduced pool, we can still outplay them and win. One thing is for sure, we will go after them the whole game. Here is the goal that both at once broke a million ger hearts and lit up the football souls of millions of us around the world. COYBIG
