Possible on a pre-contract but going off that tweet TKK has denied that one.

He's a good twitter account to follow IMO, knows an absolutely huge amount of football and I always find him very honest and fair in his assessments, doesn't play any favourites.

I am not doubting his sources just the midfielder we are trying to sign in January.

Post wasn't directed at anyone individually, just that if that bloke says we're in for someone I tend to believe him.
I don't think it'd be a star or even anyone Cup tied, but just adequate cover for Yaya or Fernandinho that is an upgrade over Garcia or Rodwell.

Three possibilities:
Matic (Benfica) - a bid already reported but rejected (for now)
Fernando (Porto) - out of contract in June
Matuidi (PSG) - out of contract in June
All HUGELY superior to Garcia.
Have been expecting January signings despite Txiki's comments. Zouma has been targeted but lately Chelsea have led that particular race.
Three possibilities:
Matic (Benfica) - a bid already reported but rejected (for now)
Fernando (Porto) - out of contract in June
Matuidi (PSG) - out of contract in June
All HUGELY superior to Garcia.
