As someone previously posted, whichever top 4 team get Fabregas, they'll immediately have the best midfield in the Premiership. I can only see Barca ditching him if it meant raising the cash for Koke as some have suggested as nothing else makes sense seeing as Fabregas was supposed to be Xavi's natural replacement.

I just hope there's something going on behind the scenes where City & the acquisition of Fabregas is concerned as genuinely world class players like him rarely become available.

After all these rumours I wouldn't be suprised if he stayed at barca.he always said if he came back to the prem it would only be for arsenal,so this is another saga that could run all summer

Now the English press pack are saying Mourinho doesn't want him, but the club do - which makes perfect sense. One of the doubts is apparently that Fabregas will slow play down too much in Chelsea's direct style. I hope Chelsea sign him because it'll be a bad mix and they'll probably sell him after one year after he doesn't adapt to Maureen's system.

That from ian herbert? he based that entire article on 1 tweet from goncalo lopes who said fabregas is wanted by abramovich more than mourinho or something. Ironic thing is who roman wants he normally gets. This is gona happen IMO.

Well, to be honest you're the strangest City fan since you seem far more interested in the southern blues. :-)

But I hope they get Fabregas because I can see it being a classic Chelsea board buy that doesn't correspond to the manager's style or wishes.

Work with guy from Putney, hes chelsea and is privy to a few bits n bobs. Stuck money on fab to chelsea based on him telling me it's happening. So I kind of want him to go there dumb as it is

If that is reported more tomorrow then we can safely assume that Barca are leaking like a tap in the hope of triggering a bidding war.

I cannot see Fabregas even considering winning for Jose, not only has he been 'kicked in the head' by him but he also has been on record in criticising Jose for his outbursts and his style of football. Factor in Chelsea are a massive rival of Arsenal, factor in Wenger and Jose feuds and factor in Chelsea style of play, I call bullshit.

where do you see him going then? Arsenal are said not to be interested, we have been financially handcuffed, and the scum have no CL football on offer - looks like Arsenal to ne, but probably saying not interested to try and keep the fee as low as possible

I think we are having him....as nip said,the kick to the swede,then you got the chucking pizza at fergiescum,.....the money is with us,champions league football,and a potential last payday at NYCFC ,only a fool would turn us down......IMO.

IMO, if Arsenal pass on him and City foolishly don't pursue then I expect him to arrive at United and I expect them to sell Kagawa back to Dortmund or they possibly sell Fellaini.

That imo is as good as we can set up if we lose Fabregas pursuit.

I personally see any purchase of him as a replacement for Yaya and see Yaya being sold after WC to PSG. If we sell Negredo, I'd love to see us go for Cavani and use Yaya as part of deal.

Kagawa is a top player, playing for a team inferior to the one he played for at Dortmund.

Here's a vid where you can see why he fails at United, he is simply bypassed for Rooney and played out wide on the left. Play him as the no.10 he is and he is a player. hopefully he goes back to Dortmund to replace Gotze's loss and United see what they lossed.
