I think if Yaya does stay and we still end up bringing in Fabregas I reckon a striker will be sold and we go 4-3-3 next season.

5 mids in Yaya, Fernandinho, Garcia, Fernando and Fabregas will battle it out for the 3 spots.

I think if a decent offer came in for Garcia though I think we will consider.

You could have just quoted my post from a couple of pages previous...

;-)

Re: Cesc Fabregas

This will be if Yaya leaves only. If he does it's a pretty good straight swap tbh.

I can see this happening tbh...if like tolmie has stated arse are in for Milner it could of been agreed that if we get the run in on fabregas that arsenal get first refusal on milner

wouldn't jimmy get to choose between gunners or scousers? More likely to play with liverpool and with all the other England players.

Re: Cesc Fabregas

Is this Rafael Hernandez reliable?

Seems to be being quoted by a few people on Twitter as if he is

I will repeat myself, it's never done until it's official, but there's a huge possibility Fàbregas is off to Manchester City.

He has a lot of info about Barca which is always spot on. I think he is about as reliable as they come

Yaya will not be leaving. And if we sign Fernando and Fabregas he'd be mad to

In with the spainish media tends to get 7/10 things correct when he tweets

Re: Cesc Fabregas

Pick and Mix two out of four

Fernando/Garcia/Fernandhino/Yaya

Fabregas/Nasri/Silva /Navas

Dzeko/Negredo/Jovetic/Aguero

Could play 3 matches a week without any sort of burn out on any player including injuries and suspensions. Perfect for 4 competitions.

He's ok. Not super reliable or one of those "if he says it, its true" guys. sport.es also reported Fabregas deal, they are not reliable though, daily star of spain

I'd be wary of him. He's popular but no one seems to know who exactly he writes for in Brazil and he's known to be quite young. Last month he said Barca had an agreement to sign Klopp and Reus from Dortmund. I'm not saying he's a WUM but I always treat his info with caution.

I wouldn't be sorry, he's probably still pissed from yesterday

I hope the guys on his way but this does feel remarkably like Sanchez & Isco.......hopefully not

I think the big difference between this transfer and those two is that we were competing with Madrid/Barca to sign those players rather than buying a player off them who they don't want.

I'd fancy us in a head to head against the rags and Liverpool for a player like Fabregas.

No disrespect to Milner but I am sure that the Gooners will have bought the equivalent of a Suffolk Punch type horse and we will have bought a racehorse.

That's very disrespectful to Milner mate, rarely short of very good when he gets on the pitch, and has been there for most of our big wins in the last few seasons.

Fabregas is very good, but would his heart be in it?

I seem to remember he said once he would never play for us, something about us only being a 'money club'?

Thanks

Arsenal fans not reacting well. Seen some comments that a relative of Dein is Fabregas's agent?

Does make a bit of sense to me that Arsenal aren't interested as their midfield is their strongest area of their team. And they didn't show much interest last Summer when there was a lot of talk linking Fabregas with Utd

Fair point mate and I really hope you're right.
