I wish we would put a bid in, thing is I think we have agreed with Real Madrid not to. That way there is no auction and the transfer fee is held down (hence the 56m). I suspect if there are players in RMs team that we want they then will not overprice them to us. We have already signed Robbie from them so they know we will pay cash up front. If we were therefore interested in Huntelaar, or Schneider or Van da Vaart it may be we would have a chance of obtaining them for a reasonable fee and wouldn't get slated in te press. Just my opinion.

I think that we were bankrolling chelsea's move for Kaka. I think they did make a bid for him but then maybe oneof the deals that we have for a chelsea player fell through? Which resulted in Chelsea denying there bid for Kaka as they had no more money. Just a thought :P
