Chairman's Interview 2018 - part 2 page 11

No mention of D.Silva's family issues as a low but perhaps avoided due to wanting to maintain less media attention to it. I expected him to cite Mendy's early season injury as one of the lows but at least he mentioned the emergence of Delph at LB - of course, he would've referred to that as well as a low that turned into a high

It's true though that there were many remarkable things to the season apart from the records and entertainment from attacking play. Development of Leroy, Sterling and Stones (Before the injury) not to mention the rock that Otamendi became. Could even say similar about Zinchenko as he, like Delph, showed great promise at LB - another reflection of how Pep wants players more than positions

Still think City have another gear to climb into, then look out

At last, in one of Khaldoon's end of season interviews, a snippet or two via Chris, along with a carefully worded replay from Khaldoon.

It's happening quietly in the background, just like the CFA did.

Very happy. Can't wait.

Thank you Sheikh Mansour and Khalddon. And Chris.
Snippet of what mate ?

Snippet of what mate ?

Just a vague mention by Chris Bailey that he and others have seen some plans/proposals for the Etihad Campus and were blown away by them.

When pressed by Chris Bailey, Khalddon did his usual diplomatic and understated reply on the question.

Which I think is the first time it has been asked directly in Khalddon's end if season interview?

Maybe the club and Chris Bailey had noted our previous comments on no new news, and decided to include the question in the interview this time.

Of course we all would have loved Khaldoon to have done a full presentation, including CGI's, a flythrough, etc. Lol!

At least it's more confirmation that something is definitely going on in the background, bar the Etihad Campus - MU Sports Science Campus snippets, that have come out recently.
