They wont win the league this season, but to be fair... they've played ourselves, Chelsea and Liverpool in their first 5 games. And they're only 3 points behind us. Early days, but i'm confident we'll finish above them this season.

Villa have had a tougher run of fixtures and are only 4pts behind us, but I'm confident we'll finish above them too :-)
You can argue that Hull have had a tougher set of opening games and they are on the same points as the rags.
This talk of the fixture list being tough for them is pure nonsense and is trying to divert attention from the fact they are not currently very good. The Swansea scoreline flattered them greatly and they were unconvinving at home against an average Leverkusen side.

Over the same corresponding games last year they are three points worse off, over the same like for like corresponding fixtures we are three points better off. That means we are still five points adrift of them. The only consolation I take is that without the pisscan they won't have the 15 or so points that he would get them through their bullying and cheating so for me we are 10 points better than them. :-)

All this is very premature. It wouldn't surprise me if they won their next 5 matches and we lost at Villa on Saturday. They always beat shit teams and we don't, see Cardiff and Stoke, United will beat both of them away.
Having said all that, I can't see them winning the league but I also think we've got a few away slip-ups in us yet but I'd expect us to motor on now after that result/performance. With our squad we should be unstoppable and their squad doesn't look up to much without Ferguson motivating/frightening them. They will be there or thereabouts thought

Well they (incorrectly) stated that we were the worst champions ever. let's see how well they do. Let's not forget they have had a tough run of opening fixtures but they really need to bounce back or the pressure will continue to mount.
