Members of the relevant scheme will get first priority on tickets for away Cup matches, semi finals and finals, ranked by their loyalty points, before members who have not signed up to the Cup Scheme.

Nice.
Obvious City would do this.

Individuals at City can't keep telling our new signings to say that all Mancunians are City fans and that everywhere in the city we can see City shirts, when we have our rivals singing "20 thousand empty seats are you fucking sure". Obviously those working at City don't like this jibe (it doesn't bother me, actually makes me laugh because there's video evidence of them with just 15000 fans watching them against Torpedo Moscow in 1992 - so to me they're just hypocrites, but people working at the club don't like it!) so want to get as many fans in the ground as possible for cup games, hence the rewarding of those in the Cup Scheme first.

They've been erased! I usually just ring the ticket line when I need to know my loyalty points total.

Anyway, glad I've signed up to all three schemes now. I'll see you guys at the nou camp.

absolute disgrace
absolutely the right way and only way to go. If you think you will probably go to most CL games then sign up. If people cannot make it then your ticket can easily be sold on here no problem. Its not as if you have to pay anything up front. It also prevents the people who have had season tickets since the sixties who dont necessarily go anymore getting 1st dibs on semi's / finals etc.
The half empty stadium at most europa/fa/carling games last season was embarassing.
We profess that Manchester is blue and all blues are loyal etc etc but more of us need to start showing it. If the club need to apply a bit of pressure then fine by me.
Football on a Saturday at 3 oclock is a rarity and has been for quite a while so the bollox excuses are 'bollox'.
