I think it was £329 but whilst there, match tickets were £5 and a large vodka was 5p so it turned out one of the cheaper trips I did last year. Certainly cheaper than Lyon.

5p! Fucking hell thats the cheapest I’ve ever heard for booze. Mate said rural Bulgaria was cheap but nowhere near that!

Never done a Euro away before but Atalanta now it’s going to be in Milan is very tempting. Any veterans of such trips, assume if needs be for a game like this it would be simple to pick up a ticket out there if needs be? I’m a Cityzens matchday member so hoping just get one via the club and we get a large allocation.

Don't bother much with Milan, get a hotel on Lake Maggiore, about 45 minutes by train, beautiful with plenty to do (boat trips etc). Verona is also a very nice place, bit further away, but still very nice, get to Milan in the morning (train) and have a look round for the day, make sure there's a train back after the game obviously.

Yeah Verona is a nice place, very much like a mini Rome.

Never done Milan so would like to stay there and have a look around but not sure where to base myself with 5 others, anywhere near the Station or Cathedral is always favourite

For those interested I flew into Ljubljana for a couple of nights and got the local bus to lake bled beautiful. The train is about 6 Euro to Zagreb nice hotel next to the station the esplanade a bit pricey but amazing. Fantastic city takes about 2 hours 25mins there is a brilliant street of bars very oldie worldie

I am on these cheap flights from Stansted. There's a bus that takes 45 minutes and costs four Euros. I expect a few Blues will be on this flight so we may be able to share a cab. The airport is apparently about 15 miles away from the city.

The airport is a way out of Ljubljana. Best to order a taxi rather than take one from airport
