Considered how much I'd be willing to spend last week, so when the ticket and flight prices appeared, thought only if I win the lottery. As I don't usually play, there seemed little chance, but then had an idea so bought a lucky dip for last Saturday's lotto.
So now I'm two quid worse off than I was on Friday, so definitely not going!
For the price of just me going, I could upgrade the TV to something more up to date 4k etc ready for every match of next season and that's before I've even considered the tickets for the (almost adult) kids. If it was at Wembley, I'd be thinking twice about potentially £150 a ticket if I couldn't get the £70 ones, and travel there would be relatively cheap.
There's suggestions the 2026 final could be in the USA and with the prices, it may as well be for the average fan of any side.
