Almost as bad as when one of the commentators during our League Cup match against Liverpool this year said “these sides are showing why between them they have won the last 5 premier league titles”.

I nearly spit my non-alcoholic “beer” out on to my toddler who was sitting on my lap, but luckily, unlike Carragher, I have control of my mouth muscles (and am not a vile moron).

I find those statements actually disgusting. Sharing? Anyone listening would think that they had a trophy haul. I wait for the day when tech is so advanced that I can always turn off commentary on any device and on any platform
