I actually think PSG dropping into the Europa would be good for them in the long term. If they get a good draw they could end up winning it and you have to think that experience of being a favourite for the competition and going on to get a European trophy would go a long way to fixing their weird psychology around bottling the CL every year.

Would they not be better going into europa league? They could realistically win that entire thing, they'll get a decent wedge for winning it compared to going out in the last 16 of the champions league and crucially, It can get them back in the champions league next season.
