There's an article on the OS that states the Navy shirt will be used for away fixtures in the CL mate

I saw that but it seems very odd considering last year, when it was the official away shirt we couldn't wear it because UEFA won't allow your home and away kits to be different shades of the same colour - now we can?

I just say wait a little longer if one is getting either of the away kits if they are adamant about getting the CL patches on them. We will see soon enough which they will wear.

It was called 'Ashburton Grove' during planning and construction, though I don't know if that was an official name or if it just referred to the stadium location on plans. The deal to call it Emirates Stadium was done before it opened in 2006 and you are quite correct, it's always been Emirates Stadium since it opened. Some fans opposed to the sponsorship still call it Ashburton Grove. UEFA on the other hand are wrong to use the name Arsenal Stadium, this is the official name of their old ground, affectionately known as 'Highbury'. I would imagine that they have consulted the club on this though and they are lucky that sat nav was only just getting off the ground at the time they moved, otherwise you would now be directed to a block of flats.

You can have stripes on the backs of shirts in the CL now. Changed a couple of years ago. See Barca for example.
