Is it right that City have give Roberts permission to play against us?

No it's not. All loan players in Europe are eligible to play against their parent clubs as UEFA regulations prohibit any external bodies having an influence on team selection in any of their competitions, apart from of course the muppets that come up with their squad selection rules.

It would be good for us if he does. He won't have played against anyone close to our level in Scotland and it gives us a chance to see whether he can cope.
