TV pairings is a load of bollocks. Understand why teams from the same country should be equally split between the matchdays but the TV companies should have no right to pair two teams up.

It's the reason we got Barca—Leverkusen could have gone in with Barca but the earlier draw is designed to give the highest probability of that outcome (i.e. the group halfing system).

The entire thing is a Monty Hall probability scheme.

I think because the TV companies have paired Spurs and Arsenal so that they can't play on the same day. Once Arsenal came out into group A, we had to be either B, C or D
