The six group winners the Rags can draw will be praying for Old Salfordians, after yesterday they are a shambles of a team, no tactics, no desire and no clue. They are out, it doesn’t matter who they draw. Would like to see the Dippers get Barca who are just hitting form, a good twatting at the Camp Nou would hopefully shatter their confidence.

On the flip side, if Liverpool crash out in the round of 16, they'll have less matches to worry about during the taxing last couple of months of the season. It could work both ways. Don't worry about Liverpool. City just have to worry about themselves. When the time comes, we will fancy our chances against anyone, provided that we arrive to the late rounds with everyone fit.
 
Atletico most likely for us based on probability ...

Extremely tough but maybe it’s what we need. 2 CL finals in recent years, EL triumph last season, beating them would install a new found belief in the team.
