Hopefully is a couple of tough matches that they barely scrape through before being knocked out by Madrid in the Quarters.

i think they'll qualify, they'll be too much for Munich at Anfield i think. But yes a couple of trying games, followed by qualification and increasing distraction from the league, only to be dumped out in the quarters has it all - tiring, demoralising at the right stage.

It should be similar to the Basel tie last year where we win the away leg comfortably and then put out a fully changed XI for the return home leg.

That’s a slightly Machiavellian way of looking at it. I think we got the easiest draw we could have, Rags and Pool didn’t get Porto and Spurs deserved at least something winnable after a nightmare group. With Sergio and Kev back, things are looking good.
