luckily for Kompany remaining CL games are piss easy for Bayern. they should win 4 at least and the game vs PSG is also probably a win which would take them to 16 or 18 points which is surely enough for top 8.
still imo he will be found out later on, as this jump from Burnley to Bayern is bit of a shocker. he will win the league no doubt, but once the noises start above his head from Bayern board room, and good CL results will be needed from February he will struggle imo. they got rid of Nagelsmann when they were still on track to do the treble not long ago.
on the other hand PSG have left some real shit draw, they will struggle to collect 12 points in total. 10-11 points is where I predict them actually.
good for Villa on the impressive start, this can give them momentum to clinch top8 which means they guaranteed in last 16 starting the tie away from home and decide it Villa Park, instead of another 2 games which is quite badly scheduled around February...
they have also some easier fixtures left like Brugge, Celtic beating those gives them already 15 points, and then some more is possible vs Juventus, Leipzig, Monaco.
I wonder at what point will this extra CL schedule hit them in the PL as so far they are OK while Newcastle already was stretched too much and were nowhere near as good in PL this time last year as the season before.
16 points is the cutoff point amount for top 8 positions, might be 15 enough too with better GD, based on the supercomputers predictions.
