Champions League QF Draw - Lyon

So many hypothetical scenarios at the moment.

The other side looks easier. But it could be City playing Lyon before playing Napoli and we'd take that.

Barcelona haven't been impressive, Bayern will not have played for a long time before they play their quarter final. Although do have a warm up against Chelsea where they're essentially through already.

PSG v Atletico in the semi the other side would be tough so it's not like they can coast into a final. We shall see. On our day we're better than most and with one leg and no away goals have a great chance. It could come down to the 5 subs and strength of squad. Hopefully Aguero is back for it, but having so many options on the bench is a good thing. Shame we couldn't have kept Sane for it, but clearly the offer was based on him going now. The extra time scenario could also be a factor. One game at a time is definitely true in this case. Let's get the job done against Real first and go from there.
 
Should be more worried about Madrid 2nd leg than Juve or Lyon. Former play turgid football with a coach who has zero CL know how. Lyon wouldn’t have played competitive football since March.

Think, fitness and competetive match sharpness will come into it, which should be to our advantage, with games to rotate in the league, and FA cup for competiveness.
 
Didnt want to face Bayern so wanted to be on the other side of the draw but it’s fair enough. We should get to the semis then see what happens
 
Doesn’t come any tougher than that, potentially Real Madrid, Juventus, and Barca/Bayern just to get to the final, compare that to spurs last year who reached the final playing Dortmund city and Ajax. Would swap and be in the other half of the draw in a heartbeat but No complaints, if we’re going to win it nobody can see we haven’t beaten the best.
 
Very difficult draw but when we play our football, as against Liverpool for example, no team can stop us. I really hope to get Lyon in the quarterfinals but I don't see them passing Juventus after not playing football for half a year. Bayern will run down Barcelona I have no doubt about that. Facing Bayern at semi final, if we get there, will be such a challenge. The best 2 teams in Europe in my opinion. If we can get past Bayern
I hope to face Atletico in the final.
Don't want Mbappe and Neymar anywhere near our defense
