Jovetic for me.
I like Jovetic but think Bony would bring more to the table. Jovetic's natural position is well covered. If we played Bony and Aguero, I struggle to see where Jovetic fits in as we'd likely play with Nasri, Silva, Yaya and one of the Fern's, with cover in the shape of Milner/Navas/Dzeko/Lamps/Fern2.
No chance Pellegrini will leave Jovetic out of the squad though, but I struggle to see a less risk option, so for me it's either that or Bony doesn't go in the squad.

...but there do seem to be 22. His age I guess?
Either way neither Sagna nor Kolarov seem to be bringing a lot to the party right now so I'd rather have Bony in than either.

Yes he's U21 that's why. I would keep Sagna, because we definitely need backup for RB. Kolarov would be one I would say given recent form, but who knows he might bounce back in a few weeks and then we look like idiots. Aside from this would have to be one of the forwards I'm afraid. If we could get either Bony or Dzeko playing their best in the league and FA cup we'd be fine using the other in UCL.john@staustell said:...but there do seem to be 22. His age I guess?

It's possibly not beyond all reasonable doubt that we have a buyer for Jovetic, or even Dzeko. Not his best season. Without FFP no, but just maybe?

I think the club still sees potential in Jovetic despite the injuries or he would have been out in the summer. There were rumours some Italian clubs were interested. He obviously wants to make a big impact at City going by some of the stuff he's said recently. Dzeko I'd also be inclined to evaluate over the next 4 months and see if he's still got it. He's definitely reliable when in good form and one of the PL's top 5 strikers. Either case we can look into it before summer. Right now we should try and sell the couple of players who have fallen out of favour with MP.
