It will be Sagna as Clichy can play right back. If it was Dzeko or Jovetic it would massively effect their confidence
for the title run in. Sagna was only ever brought in as a squad member.

I'd leave Yaya out. For one thing he's not available for one game and for another, we looked much better without him in the two CL games he's missed. Also a punishment for his utter stupidity in getting that ban in the first place.

Yes leave out our best/most influential player we have for the biggest games we have had to date, makes sense.

CL games with Yaya. P4 W0 D2 L2.
CL games without Yaya P2 W2 D0 L0.

Hardly our best/most influential player. He just doesn't suit the CL.

It’s Jovetic for me. Although I like him as a player I don’t think he is clinical enough in setting up chances or converting chances. Dzeko is out of form and vulnerable with Bony in but I can’t see us not having 3 out and out goal scorers / strikers in the squad when we often play with 2 in the starting 11.

I'd be disappointed if Dzeko was left out, it's all very well the article saying that Jovetic can play in a number of positions but so far he hasn't really shone in any of them. Dzeko is always capable of scoring important goals even when his all-round game is lacking.

No chance it will be Sagna, good experience in the Champions League and certainly more reliable full-back than Kolarov.

Personally think it will be Jovetic - Dzeko's goal record for sure will keep him in and certainly fancy him to grab us a goal more so than Jovetic late in a game if we need it!

Btw really doubt we would start with two strikers any remaining CL game. Only if we are lucky to go trough and get Basel or Porto. But not vs Barca, Real, Bayern, Chelsea etc.

We are extremely open in Europe with 442 formation, Pellegrini knows this too.

So my final idea is one of Bony/Dzeko/Jovetic has to be it. Is it 110% that Bony will join the CL squad? We may say to him that we had to wait 4-5 weeks for you now you wait a bit to play in CL next season.:)

This scenario still less awkward than telling Jovetic we dont need you in CL as we just have Bony now...

Could have done it maybe easier to offer Jovetic or Dzeko every FA Cup games from now on maybe i return but we lost to fucking Boro.
