Just read the BBC news article about the upcoming season fixtures and was a little bit annoyed they don't refer to us as Manchester City, premier league champions, even champions man city would do.

Now you might think this a little precious but if I'm not mistaken the rags were always referred to as the champions man utd, even during live match text commentary they would often be referred to thus or simply the champions.

Come on BBC give us our due, we fucking well earned it !!

Of course but even that article refers to the fact they were the champions. Im just being a little pedantic but I think we should have our due.

5 Live gave us our full title when they announced the fixtures were out and to make you really happy, we were the only ones they mentioned.

But look at the current U****d home page on the BBC website.....nice picture don't you think?? <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/tea ... ter-united</a>

Nothing at all to do with paranoia, I believe that if you've won the thing the fact should be acknowledged, however much it may pain to admit it.

Don't subscribe to this agenda against us nonsense tbh

It was with some pride that I heard on BBC Radio 5Live “The next fixtures are out and Champions Manchester City are at home to newly promoted Southanpton”. Champions. Sounds great doesn’t it? Not only that, we were the only team mentioned!

Glory is a moment.

Clearly for me it still hasn't sunk in properly as I can't believe I'm reading stuff on the BBC website that says:

Manchester City will begin the defence of their Premier League title against newly promoted Southampton at Etihad Stadium.

Fuck me! We are champions :-)

Getting just a tad giddy at the prospect of the new season already.

The picture says more than words. BBC website front page shows Vincent holding the trophy, the article shows the team celebrating with the trophy. It's all good.

Same on talksport too, 'the champions manchester city....'

Another season of paranoia beckons.

Hahahahahahaha - really made me laugh, this thread...

I wondered where the "Reds Under The Bed" brigade would focus their insecurity this year. Incredible stuff.

They're definitely running out of ideas. I was in traffic when I heard the fixtures. Talksport put emphasis on how we are home after our CL games and that United are away. The first thing I though of was the paranoid brigade on here and how they will think of something else to cling onto.
All you can do is laugh, which is what I did as I sat in that traffic.
