I’d love a breakdown of their spending and how it made them worse.

Their core players got older.

If they don’t invest this summer, they wont get 25 points next season.
I think it's true about them only getting worse despite spending a lot of cash. I'll be interested to see what Eddie Howe does with Newcastle's money because he spent a bucket-load for a team of Bournemouth's level and very few of their signings worked long-term.

15-16 season
£1m on Josh King - successful signing
£8m on Tyrone Mings - did okay for them, eventually sold him on for profit
£7m on Max Gradel - who?
£3m on Lee Tomlin - scored 1 goal in 10 games, was sold two years later
£10m on Benik Afobe - scoring rate of 1 in 7, sold after three seasons
£8m on Lewis Grabban - 1 goal in 22 games, sold on quickly

£37m on six players, 2 successful signings

16-17 season
£5m on Lys Mousset - 5 goals in 71 games, was sold after two seasons
£7m on Lewis Cook - has done well for them, is still there
£15m on Jordan Ibe - lol
£3m on Brad Smith - played 5 games in four years, sold to Seattle Sounders
£2m on Marc Wilson - made 3 appearances and was sold quickly
£1m on Aaron Ramsdale - made 37 appearances, was bought by Sheffield United

£33m on six players, 1 successful signing

17-18 season
£20m on Nathan Ake - did well for them, was sold on for profit
£10m on Asmir Begovic - eh, mixed
Free transfer for Jermain Defoe - 4 goals in 34 games

£30m on three players, 1 successful signing

18-19 season
£11m on David Brooks - initially excellent, has had (and recovered from) major health issues since
£11m on Diego Rico - was alright for them, sold on after relegation
£25m on Jefferson Lerma - club record fee, still plays for them
£19m on Dominic Solanke - lol
£12m on Chris Mepham - still plays for them, albeit as a squad player

£78m on five players, maybe 2 successful signings, if you were being generous?

19-20 season
£13m on Lloyd Kelly - still plays for them
£3m on Jack Stacey - still plays for them
£15m on Philip Billing - still plays for them
£13.7m on Arnaut Danjuma - sold to Villarreal for profit after one good season

£45m on four players, maybe 1 successful signing

£223m spent on a huge amount of players, only seven of whom turned out to be any good for Bournemouth. Considering Bournemouth finished 16th, 9th, 12th, 14th, and 18th, that's a lot of money shelled out for very little progress. You'd hope they'll spend better when they come back up.

Should do something about the ground for starters ........ hold 11k why should other teams have to invest millions in upgrading there ground while these lot get away Scot free with it .......... ain’t Fulham in the middle of a major rebuild ????? You could put money on Forest doing the same ........

Sky only have 1 game on live today for the last round of Championship games, seems odd especially as BT aren't showing any PL games either.

Sky broadcast 2 League One games last week?

BT have the Mickeys game against Spursy this evening. It is strange, though, that Sky are only showing the Luton game. You'd have thought that the Blades' game against Fulham would have been on as well.
