Someone mentioned that the offside was earlier in the play and not the goal scorer. Not sure as I have only seen replays focusing on whether or not the scorer was offside.

They might clear it up in the post match guff.

Didn't realise that Southampton were on such a run right now; 16 games unbeaten, the second longest run in their history. If they beat Plymouth in the game that's on now, they'll be 2 pts behind 2nd placed Ipswich (albeit Ipswich are playing later on against QPR, who are in the bottom 3).
