I remember before VAR was routinely used in every match. At the time, some people even opposed it's use! Seems crazy now.

Get off social media then!! Had a row Wednesday night back at the pub after the game with 2 rags and a dipper about all this FFP bollocks this week, it got load but not heated if you get my drift but better than arguing on social fucking media. Plus I made sure I got the final word!!

Black footy boots are coming back into fashion , recently bought my grandson his Nike boots (£85 bleeding quid , but he's worth it , he's a decent player as well) for the new season and all his team are buying similar , and quite a few of the opposition players have gone back to black boots (all though they do have a silly little sock attached to the boot :). A minute silence was a rarity and I'm not even sure it was observed on games near Remembrance Sunday.

Teams came out on their own and there was one mascot for the home team if one at all.

The home team could delay coming out and leave the away side shivering in the cold whilst also getting the home crowd revved up.

No matter how packed the ground was, when a fight broke out, a huge clearing would suddenly appear around those involved, which seemed to defy physics.
