Changes to improve the league

Officials to be made accountable for strange or dodgy looking decissions and made to explain their reasoning to a neutral body. Officials to have medicals and also pass a standard of fitness tests. Annual eye sight tests and body mass related weight standards. They are Proffesionals after all.

they do fitness tests every 2 weeks (various types of test including yoyo) along with tracking BMI/fat % all year round. presume they have some sort of eye test...

the accountability of decisions process - happens but will never be public

Tell united to fuck off.

A serious suggestion though is booking players that deliberately walk backwards under a player jumping for a header. Insanely dangerous and seemingly not an offence, crazy!

So Mr beck will be receiving his P45 privately this week then? How can you claim accountability privately, the whole point of accountability is that its accountable?

no need for all that just get the refs to apply the laws of the game ie time wasting goalkeepers pissing about on goal kicks, drink clean boots set up short nope ill kick it long another drink , and now head injuries if break on down goes a player holding his head the trainer should just run on game continues as in rugby
I would guess most head injuries are in the box so the trainer can't just come running into the box to deal with an injury.

Why would he? It's a very poor positional error which led to him not giving the offside.

Do we get rid of players when they make mistakes which lead to goals or miss open goals? Obviously not. Same goes with officials.

They are accountable to their bosses, if they consistently perform below par they'll be demoted back to the championship/pensioned off.

If Aguero's only job was to stand unmarked, kicking the ball into an empty net wnen it's on a plate for him over & again, & do fuck all else, but he instead booted it over the fucking stand, because he was 'looking at the corner flag' we would indeed sack him.

1. Officials can’t referee a game if they live within 40 miles of the team’s home ground.

2. Officials can’t referee a game if their entire family have held season tickets in the Stretford End

3. Free eye tests for the officials

Mrs Vienna has been saying exactly the same about your first point for years.

The muppets running the line last night should be made to squirm in front of a panel after their inept performance at the London Stadium.
