How can they say anything?!?!

Smells a lot like bullshit to me. Plus imo the three people who he mentioned becoming city fans one day aren't proper fans to me anyway.

And I had to laugh at the guy who basically said yes i would support a different team if we were shit

Its obvious, every one knows that City is Gods team and its just that these supporters they are on about have found God!

Anyone heard that bloke Paul Nolan? He used to be on Manchester phone-ins when I lived up there. I recall he started out as a scum fan, then liked City for a while, and had become a Leeds fan by the time I left. God knows who he supports now.

Yea he used to ring in to James H Reeve, good value for a laugh

people that don't have emotional bond with club tend to choose a safe club that has a big chance to win trophy. i'm sure if city start to win, these swing supporters would start to call himself a city fan. do you have problem with that?
i my country the local tv channels the to broadcast so called big club. i rarely see city matches being broadcasted here. i remember a derby, city won 3-1. i was so happy. im not city fan. just mu hater

That's good enough for me pal! I think foreigners supporting united just show a lack of imagination/intelligence. On the other hand people who choose City tend to be bright, imaginative and fiendishly attractive to women.

And yea and verily the scum did see the light, and the light was good. Then a voice from heaven cried out:

"This is my City, in whom I am well pleased
Trust in them and thy faith shall be repaid onehundredfold
He who turneth away from Satan, who careth not for (green and) gold
And who is baptised in blue shall have eternal life.
Whilst he who shuns my City and chooseth the darkness
chooseth damnation, for he shall burn for all eternity alongside
Judas, Swales, Ferguson, Platini, Blatter, Terry Christian and Mick Hucknall."

My Dad new a bloke who was a City fan all is life up until about 5 years ago when he decided he'd had enough an switched his allegiances to West Ham...

Serves him right.

Now they know what we've had to put up with for years.

A mate I used to knock about with in the late-1980's when I was 17 or 18 watched City regularly at home whereas I wasn't a match-going fan at the time and used to get loads of stick off him for not going. Shortly afterwards when I started attending games, he suddenly started going to Old Trafford. His excuse was that most of his mates were reds and it was difficult to find anyone to go to City with regularly (as if that should matter), but as the months went by he became a fully-fledged Rag. I suppose the only thing you can say is that he switched sides before they became successful but it's still wrong nonetheless, and I'd be saying the exact same thing if a red decided to start supporting us.

Add to this at least 2 blokes I know from school - both were Liverpool fans back then and weren't afraid to show it, even up until they left school. When I caught up with them some years later, they'd switched allegiances to the Rags because they'd suddenly become the most successful team in the country.

Then add in all the people I know that came crawling out of the woodwork when they won the league in 1993 - people who had no previous interest in football whatsoever - and I think it's fair to say that they really aren't in any position to moan about this.
