Charging For Tickets

Reading the wonderful generosity of mancitymick, it made me wonder, does anyone charge their friends, if they lend them their season ticket too go to the game, if you are unable too get there.

Almost all of my city mates won't take a penny, even (In times gone by when i didn't have a season ticket) if i offered, and i would never charge either.

Yet the only rags that have season tickets out of my mate (I know i shouldn't have any rag mates), will charge my other rag mates too go.

Is it just a rag thing ?

When i cannot make it i will always give it to friends or familly for nothing......

Nope, never charge. Just doesn't feel right. Plus I'd prefer soneone to go rather than an empty seat.

Always give mine to brother or little cousin to go. No need in charging them. I never would either.

like a lot of people i would never charge, although i missed a game last season and was a bit worried that i would not get my card back in time for the next game, i need not have worried as it turns out, they brought it round a few days later...

When I was a season ticket holder (season before last) if I couldn't make a game, and there were a few as I am hundreds of miles away, I used to send my cards up to my brother for him, his wife and their son to use. I never charged a penny, and would never expect to. The fact is, that even if I didn't give them to my brother, and kept them myself, and had empty seats, the tickets still cost me the same, and I would rather someone use them if I couldn't.

On the other hand, my sister now has two season tickets. She also lives hundreds of miles away, and when she can't go she offers them to the same brother, but charges him. we had a bit of a fallout cos I told her she was out of order for what she was doing, and that you don't rip off your own

I think your right mate. Better to have some one in your seat.

The ticket would be just sit there, getting bothered by the moths in my wallet. I wouldn't even charge a friend of a friend, as its not costing me anything.
