Go for a smaller based local charity as they need it more
in my opinion.

Why not look at local charities? They are screaming for donations and look after the local communities

again {in my opinion] the likes of Christies get loads of donations,im not knocking them but other charaties hardly get a look in sometimes.

Brain and Spinal Injury Charity (BASIC) at Hope hospital. I help these cos of the link with my daughter's brain tumour.

Christies had a lot of money in the failed Icelandic bank so could probably do with all they can get now.

again {in my opinion] the likes of Christies get loads of donations,im not knocking them but other charaties hardly get a look in sometimes.

Agreed about Christies, admirable though. I did some work for these a few years ago

Give it to a hospital charity or a hospice and help some one who is ill
