Charity Shield Hotel & Drinking advice

Got my ticket booked for the Community Shield but was wondering where the best place will be to go following the match for a celebratory drink (optimistic!) I went to the semi and cocked up big time when we got seperated from the main set of City fans and then couldnt find anywhere decent for a few drinks?

Where did people from here go last time?

Also, are there any decent hotels knocking about on the cheap for 3 people? Everywhere seems to have a maximum of 2 people but im sure I could sneak someone in if necessary.<br /><br />-- Thu Jul 28, 2011 1:16 pm --<br /><br />can anybody help?

Try russell square, loads of hotels, royal national or the tavistock are reasonably priced, as for drinks there is a pub called the City Pride in farringdon which is always busy for city games. not sure what time they will be open to on a sunday though.
