Thoughts on this lad? 25yrs old, homegrown? could he be an option for our '4'th choice?

I've just had a look at his stats and they are very impressive, given his stature,he's also a quite a presence.

Now I haven't seen much of him so i'm not sure if i'm way off,i guess I will soon find out.....;-)

A good player no doubt and a great story behind his rise to the prem. Would he be able to do it for City? Im not sure. Would it be a similar case as to Rickie Lambert at Liverpool?

I think he's a cracking player, just not sure he is good enough for what we need. He is a good finisher from what ive seen and scores goals. In our team he would definitely get chances, but would he be any better than Giudetti? Been unlucky with injuries so hope for his sake he gets a decent run now.

Similar stories I guess but I think Austin has more strings to his bow,he isn't as one dimensional IMO.

He's got chronic knee problems hasnt he? Remember some injury problems in recent times. I just don't see the point, sitting on the bench or stands for 9/10ths of the season is no good for us, and he'll hardly be sharp and ready to go when he does get the odd chance.

I would concur, he has pace, fantastic awareness and positioning for a striker. I would be interested to see him have a crack in the England set up.

I asked Arry about him from the wound down window of his car, says he's a top fella, triffic lad with a triffic attitude, breath of fresh air, always wanted him.
