Just watched the 2nd episode its getting a bit boring now

Dawn of the Dead...plus loads of remakes, Blade, Blade 2, Blade Trinity, Blade the fucking series, Sean of the Dead, 28 days later, the next 28 days later, some film with Will Smith in it where his dog dies.

And now this.

Although it is continuously reccomended to me I've never read any of Charlie Brookers apparently excellent spite that is printed regularly in the Guardian. But if he's as talented as i've been lead to believe then what the fuck is he doing in doing a rehash of something that's been done a thousand times...and then adding the element of celebrity and cult to it too?

I'll wait for the DVD to watch it all in one go. Been reading a lot about this and it was inevitably going to rub some people up the wrong way, namely the crotch goblins who enjoy more than the 2% of TV that is actually worth watching.

i think its been ok and it will be a lot better watch on dvd from start to finish instead of being a mini 5 part special,that has spoiled it a little for me.

Yeah, I agree. The fact it's been split over 5 nights is a little extreme, Tuesday's episode had barely got going when it ended, nothing much had happened. I don't think it was made with the idea of being split into so many parts, in total it will be about 3 hours 15 minutes in length, that would have been perfect split into two parts, one on Monday and the next on Tuesday.

Am still enjoying it (thought Patrick last night was wonderfully loathsome!) but the 30 minute episodes are a big mistake. Hope it isn't a rushed ending tonight.
