Anyone ever purchased one of these or similar? are they too good to be true?

I'm tempted but something is telling me no!

If it's anything like the iPhone copy that my ex got for my daughter, it'll be absolute dog turd.

Not exactly cheap at £150 either.

That one looks dubious.

If you're looking for an excellent budget Android phone then for the same price you won't go wrong with the Orange San Francisco. Quality.

Does everything and can be upgraded. Unlocked just add GiffGaff Sim and jobs a good 'un.

Cheers mate, yeah it looks pretty good!

there's a ton (metric or imperial, you take your pick) of stuff you can get from China which is going to look extremely inexpensive in the UK - and it's cheap in the US too.. many sellers in China are selling directly and so if you cut out the retail/distribution end of things you'll see some pretty big savings - especially on some of the unbranded electronics.

for example, if you wanted to get your kid a 7" Android tablet to play with fifty quid should do it - including shipping.

try checking out 'A Happy Deal' (I think it's called?) and also 'Dino Direct' - plus of course Ebay... they're all out there selling their arses off, and it's not just electronics but clothing too - like hi-tech ski jackets that are made in China that you might find for 70-80% off retail (I know, I bought one the other year, shipped directly from China and it was the authentic stuff that was close to $700 in the stores here, not a knock-off copy)
