I think we can all agree that whatever price we paid for Man Utds crowd favourite, CarlosTevez, (£25m reported) it was as cheap as chips.

12 Goals scored already this season, and he did not have a pre season. How much is he worth now?

On top of his goals scored his work rate and influence on the game is immense.

An absolute bargain. I've been trying to tell a couple of rag mates but i think their phones are off because they not replying to my texts Lol.

just had a look over on sadcafe and there is a 5 page thread about him.
Turned into a slagfest about the worth of tevez v berbatoss, quite funny if you get time, take a look!

Been trying to do the same. I think Vodafone automatically switches off rag phones when City win, probably something to do with their previous sponsorship deal!!

I love the op November 2009 post on Sadcafe, how sick must this twat feel now; nearly as stupid as SAF.

http://www.redcafe.net/f6/tevez-has-saf-been-vindicated-274640/ See 'Ole240599's post below.

Tevez - Has SAF been vindicated?
I loved Tevez for all his effort in the last 2 seasons. Also, he endeared himself further by scoring some important goals. All of that said 25 million for a less than prolific goalscorer was something that I struggled to justify. I guess SAF was thinking the same and felt that at best Tevez was a 3rd or 4th striker in his rotation and was not good enough to be a regular starter for us.

In light of his outburst's and paltry goal return (something like 1 goal in 9 league games) I firmly believe that SAF's stance has been vindicated. Do you agree?

"He's not a goalscorer you know, not a goalscorer, he's just an average player who works hard and wasn't good enough to get in our team, he'll get about 10 goals a season. He's certainly not worth what you've paid for him, I can't believe you've paid all that for one of our bench warmers! he's a squad player, an impact player, he's NOT goalscorer!"
they've all gone quite now haven't they! ;)

An open message to united fans reading this. I know you reckon that Ferguson didn't rate Tevez too highly. I also know that's garbage and that you rated him perhaps more than even we do! The simple truth is that you lost your 3rd best player the day Tevez signed for a Manchester team. Onwards and upwards for the blues. A slippery descent for you's. That wigan player and the scouse judas (the owen) are hardly decent replacements for tranny and carlos but, don't worry. Neville will get a knighthood soon.

i feel for fergie, all that "fergie fergie sign him up" must have wound him up, he could'nt sign him up as they dont have a pot to piss in, next best thing to do as rags is to belittle the player to divert the attention.

hence the name scum.
