I know 2 lads who would walk from one pub to another to save 10p.

One lad if your pint was say 10p more expensive would ask for the difference if in a round.

I used to hang around with a few people who were students and it was another world. I'd turn up with a crate of beer and say dig in, but when they'd get one the next day you'd get a text saying "can you transfer me £3.34 for those 4 cans you had please". No joke.
The worst out of the lot were the 2 scousers, they'd work out the difference in a round and ask for the 8p difference.
