The Rag forum that ono did a number on has officialy gone into meltdown with the news of Yaya signing. It has now produced the most amazing thread i have ever seen. It could even be a candidate for a classic thread here on Bluemoon.

Forget United - Who Are City Signing Next????!!!!

<a class="postlink" href="http://community.manutd.com/forums/t/115673.aspx?PageIndex=2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://community.manutd.com/forums/t/11 ... ageIndex=2</a>

And they call us Bitters. The bitterness oozes from the page there.

Remember this disgusting forum is bad for your health an you have to start on the last page, scroll up and the the newer posts are on the first page..... Backwards rag tossers.

They are the epitome of arrogance. The fans are the reason nobody likes their club (and fans for that matter!)

They should shuttup and worry about there own club!

The last thing on our minds is what they are doing.

i dont give a sh!t who they singing next haha signing.

they are totally stupid, already have 6 mids and now signed yaya toure, they will get lost and mancini will end 7th next season. they give 30mil euro for toure? thats stupid, and i just heard that they offer 40mil for Pique.thats more stupid haha.

we will buy2 players who will be better than all of them, plus we have a constant stable team. changing the team every summer will finish them at 7th place in premier league. as they did last season.

Well this poor lad knows a lot about football.
According to him we finished 7th last season and they`ll buy 2 better players than we have.
OOooooooo get him !!!
Fooking stupid raghead !!
I know some of you lads hate us going onto their Forum, but if ever you`re feeling a little down this will cheer you up no end.
Hang on ... feeling a little down !!!
What a blue nowadays !!!!!!!!!!

Nice post from sad cafe:

The opinions about City seems ridiculous. Seems like every signing is someone they don't need, but names like Yaya and Silva are clearly vast improvements to what they already have. They have decent players everywhere so in a way, any signing might be looking a bit special.

Yaya Toure (if he indeed joins them) would be a great signing, i guess that one is not confirmed yet. He is a clear improvement to what they already have, Vieira has flopped, both Barry and de Jong, is rather good as defensive midfielders (I guess that can be said about Kompany too but I expect him to be a fulltime defender.) but it is good to have several options at one spot. Yaya Toure is a box-to-box midfielder whom will contribute up front as well as defensive, something that is not the case with their current defensive midfielders in the same extent.

David Silva seems to be the redcafe.net first choice for us for years now, so if they indeed get him, it undoubtedly is a excellent signing. Adam Johnson and David Silva are two left footed great wingers, I guess Silva can play as a attacking midfielder as well. He is a excellent option both in 4-4-2, and 4-3-3. If Robinho stays they can mount a hell of a 4-3-3 side with him and Robinho at the flanks.

If highly linked players join, Toure, Kolarov and Silva whom already seems ready, they have a monster squad. Two potential great 4-4-2 XI's. At a good day, both of these can beat most teams.

XI 1
Hart
Kolarov - K.Toure - Lescott - Zabaleta
Silva - Y.Toure - De Jong - A. Johnson
Tevez - Adebayor

XI 2
Given
Bridge - Boateng - Kompany - Richards
Wright Phillips - Barry - Ireland - Robinho
Bellamy - Santa Cruz

There are still plenty I am leaving out, some will probably be sold, and I expect them to sign someone else that are not mentioned as well... Zlatan seems like a option for them, if he departs Barca, who else can afford him? He among the top wages in Europe now. I doubt they are done. They will not win the league next season, that is pretty sure. But sooner or later, if they continue signing these kinds of names, they will be contenders. They have world class goalkeeper(s?) defenders, midfielders and forwards. Their squad should be better than Tottenhams, and if Arsenal looses Fabregas, they might get a bit of a set-back, and they need a good replacement for Gallas whom seems to be leaving. City are likely to finish in the top four.

They're not very good with the numbers 5&7 on there are they? One of 'em says we finished 7th last season. Obviously we finished 5th. Then another one says we were Silva's 7th choice after Real, Barca, Scum and Chelsea, which even if true, to my mind makes us 5th choice. How odd.
