now i feel old........ i remember the techno of the late 80`s early 90`s....this is a migraine waiting in the wings!!!!

It ain't techno, but you would be surprised how techno has devoloped into many other things such as tech house, which in my opinion is amazing. Here you go:

i never claimed anything was techno...i was just remembering music from when i was younger.cheers massive that was easier on the ear(er...headphones!)

but i do class anything made by machines/digital or samples-as techno (IMO!) even though most argue otherwise!

Gonna be a geek here and old skool techno was usually around 140BPM
now it can be anything from 120 - 150 BPM
I suppose like you said, anything made from software is classed as 'Electronic(a)'
