I think the defenders and keeper were watching repeated Keystone Cops videos on the train down?Jackson’s goal, what was Dias doing sliding on the ground? Just as culpable as Ederson
Good take. I also felt pretty disappointed after the final whistle. My take was that there was no engagement in the midfield. No meaningful slowing play down. And it made it seem like they had incredible pace. I don't think Doku had a particularly good game. I thought Foden, Bernardo, Haaland and Walker were good. I'm loathe to criticize Rodri because he is a must play in every league match. I don't know. Something seemed off. Perhaps it was Stones being out. I don't feel we exploited Cuccurella playing with a yellow. I thought it was panic stations when they got inside the 18. I think we were at 55-56% possession. Thats wayy low for us. We couldn't dominate much of the match like we usually do to wear teams out.Pep seems always obliged to make Pochettino looking like a world class manager. It was a shit-show from our point of view and even now cannot find any positives from the game. Still feel like a huge loss to not really a great or even good Chelsea team. The loss of the game control and the ball control was astonishing.
Thanks, that’s made me feel a whole lot better.Villa, Brentford and Forest already have. They've only beaten Luton at home all season.
Dias has been off it for quite a while now, pathetic challenge.Jackson’s goal, what was Dias doing sliding on the ground? Just as culpable as Ederson
Ok I’m interested to see what you would have done considering our options available. Diaz’s performance and Eddies unfortunate parry was not on Pep.I think it's best to forget about today. The defensive performance was an anomaly, Pep had a stinker tactically and Chelsea were up for it. Take the point as well as 1st place going into the international break and move on.
Plus Chelsea and us had the most possession stats on average so far this season 62/63%. Had us winning comfortably before the game. Really surprised with Chelsea today but like you say the ex City players had a point to prove and it was no coincidence they were they’re two best players after todays result. You watch I bet they’ll go and lose the next home game.Good take. I also felt pretty disappointed after the final whistle. My take was that there was no engagement in the midfield. In all, we're up a point. Should be 3. We left alot on the table. I also think this was a grudge match for both Sterling and Palmer so emotions were high for them. I guess that mattered. We hit the break on top.
