Admittedly, you’ve been hugely successful this last decade and to be fair, I’ve really enjoyed the quality of football you’ve played. I suppose my favourite City team was when Aguero and Silva were in the team. Sublime stuff. However, nothing lasts forever, dynasties come and go and I might be proven wrong but I feel yours is coming to an end.

Nothing against City, per se, but it’s hard to maintain that consistency for years.

I applaud your style of football and the success it brought but to be honest, you are Johnny Come Latelys…you still lag the legacy of the ‘Red Shirts’. Where were you pre 2012?

Pep needs to lose this infatuation for Alvarez. Sometimes it’s a bit shit to be a manager when you have to break bad news to someone you like, but the kid needs to be on the bench.

I’m sure there was a stat on the screen at the stadium before the game, showing Alvarez has more minutes than any other player. That shocks me. Seems like Pep has to shoe horn him in. If he’s not playing as striker, he shouldn’t be playing . He’s the only player to have started every game?

How can we have 70% possession & 32 shots, yet have less shots on target and less genuine goal scoring opportunities than our opponents? Just think about that for a moment!

We are either the most inefficient team to ever play, or have no idea how to defend! I think it's a mixture of both.

We were up against a billion pound bus whereas we play risk and reward footy and take risks. Not our day.

Who gives a fuck about History and who has won more titles, What does it give you? do you get an advantage in the following seasons? Football is about the here and now and as it stands MANCHESTER CITY ARE CHAMPIONS until somebody wins it this season,

He was miles off it tonight, but fuck me, Alvarez was fucking useless again in that midfield role. The knock on effect is it forces Phil wide and he’s isolated, not involved enough. And Akanji playing that link role? Pep has a blind spot with Alvarez and Akanji.
