Absolute yawn fest. We played well for 25 mins then that was it. Chelsea couldn’t be arsed and should have won really. Ortega played very well.

Enjoyed the first third of the game but then it petered out into an exhibition game. Interesting to see the fringe outfield players (Phillips, Lewis, Palmer, Gomez) and hope we see more of them in the next two games. Brighton will give them a more technically challenging test, while Brentford will give them more of a physical test.

For the first 30 minutes we played some lovely football and Palmer looked very good after that the game petered out and we let Chelsea back into it but fuck me they are piss poor.
Ortega played very well and is definitely an upgrade on Stefan..
Great to see the players celebrating after the idiots got off the pitch...

Palmer i really hopes he can stay involved. He is a real talent, can see how Pep may need to reign in a bit of show boating but i do love his confidence. We might have another genuine local star in the making here

He's so raw and his decision making in the final third needs improving, but there's a potential hell of a player somewhere in there.

Apart from the first 25 minutes that was a game to forget. Palmer started off like a world beater and then they didn't give him the ball. Ortega was excellent.

I think he needs to be playing now. A good loan like mcatee would do him the world of good then he can come back with more in his arsenal ready to compete for a place.

Chilled out watching City for the first time in months it seems. Game was played as if neither team were that arsed.

Foden good, Palmer improving. Win, clean sheet.

Chance to relax for 2 weeks then back to the sphincter tightening.
