Chelsea (H) - Post-Match Thread

Enjoyed the first third of the game but then it petered out into an exhibition game. Interesting to see the fringe outfield players (Phillips, Lewis, Palmer, Gomez) and hope we see more of them in the next two games. Brighton will give them a more technically challenging test, while Brentford will give them more of a physical test.

Brighton locked into Europa as they have a GD of +16 over Villa. So maybe DeZerbi goes with a heavily rotated squad as well...

Apart from the first 25 minutes that was a game to forget. Palmer started off like a world beater and then they didn't give him the ball. Ortega was excellent.
i get snippets on here and elsewhere re Palmer's character - to me he looks class but i noticed the seniors weren't really close to him in celebrations..unlike Rico for e.g. Is he an arrogant youngster?

Fuck off Sky Sports twats insulting Poznan!!!

"I never understood that Poznan celebration"
"Why celebrating backwards the pitch?"
"I could understanding 25 ago but not now, ha ha ha!"

Yes, all that was said live during the match.
I hate them, I hate them ALL!!!

When the camera slowly panned across our "bench", could only imagine the despair that oppo fans must have felt. We could field two teams in the prem with barely a drop off in performance. Imho
That wasn't a proper game, just a stroll for both teams. We do not have 2 prem strength teams in normal matches - as has been proved this season..its a myth the rest like to push out
