I have no pitchfork, but which was the second fantastic save (penalty +)

The last three goals (possibly the last 4) he should have done one hell of a lot better with. His kicking is the worst of any professional player I have ever seen. I accept that all players have bad games, and goal keepers when they have one are particularly prone to criticism. I was a goalkeeper when I played and normally defend them to the hilt, as it is the hardest position on the pitch, but I am afraid our reserve goalkeeper is of a standard several divisions below top flight football.
Made a great save in 1st half. Think it was from Pedro. He had no chance with the 1st, 2nd, and final goals. The final goal was a total fluke and came at an angle which made it impossible for him to save

He got the blame for the Cahill goal, but down low and close to the body is difficult for a keeper

He had a bad game. Very shaky throughout, and didn't inspire confidence but I think he is a good keeper. I have seen him have some amazing games for Malaga. He was the best keeper in Spain rated as good as Courtois, but because Hart is here everyone regard him as No. 2. Players need confidence and games. maybe this was just a bad game for him. Cech, hart,De Gea all made bad mistakes. Maybe this was just a bad day for Willy?

We aren't going to win the champions league so why prioritise that over a cup we could actually win?
Firstly its not the manager, its the club, and its about money and prestige.

Getting through to the next round of the CL is worth about 6 times more money than winning the FA cup, like it or not.
Winning the LC next week is worth not that much less than winning the FA cup. So even if we'd won today, we are still three games from winning it, while next Sunday we are 1 game away, so it's all about priorities.

I've not read all 60 odd pages so apologies if this has already been covered. The young lads did really well today, they were a credit to the academy. The older players let us down ( they let themselves down as well but they clearly don't care). I expected us to get beat by about that much but kind of expected it to be down to inexperience not down to our senior players humiliating themselves/not caring and Pellers arrogant tactics. Also, is it just me that finds it strange he won't bring on a youth player when we are 3 nil up against Hull but is prepared to start him away at Chelsea? We aren't going to win the champions league so why prioritise that over a cup we could actually win? Tosin had a good game though, so did the Garcia's , I've never seen Faupala before but was impressed with how he threw his weight about. Dick Caballero might as well just leave because he's no competition for Hart and I don't think he can be any better than any of our EDS keepers, he's shocking, theres also no reason to play Kolarov and Demechelis again, they clearly offer nothing at all. And what is all that centre back following the striker up to the half way line all about?
Thought Kolarov was OK. Demichelis shouldn't play at all. Even in today's circumstances although it was never a pen.

Best player was Alex Garcia. He could play in the 1st team based on what I saw.

So, are we to assume the starting line up against Dynamo will not contain Kolarov, Fernando, Zaba or Dimechelis
It will contain Zaba as Sagna will only be fit enough to make the bench.
Fernando will too as Delph out till April 1 and playing YaYa in the defensive 2 will be suicide. That said both the Garcia's (especially Alexis Garcia) have come into contention for this spot in the League cup final as a result of today (I doubt both are eligible for Wednesday)

Whilst I dislike Shearer as much as the next man and the BBC are mainly useless, I'm not sure that they are to blame for today. I understand that the Met Police would not let the game be played on Saturday. Friday was an option but Chelsea objected and wanted Sunday. As the BBC make no money from showing the game I don't think 'making money' was to blame either. I think it was just a series of unfortunate circumstances. One thing I missed on the TV coverage was the cost of each starting 11. (They must have mentioned it as they always do when City play!!)

So it was the police who disallowed Saturday... well I may have jumped the gun on 'no good reason why we can't move it' thing. I assumed the FA was bending over for the BBC, who most certainly do make plenty of money, worldwide and in a manner of ways, by having us in that time slot. Nevertheless, I stand corrected.
Our police have given us and the rags permission to play at home on the same day, but if a Chelsea fan or Fulham fan was hurt for our benefit that then wouldn't be right.

Nah it was the BBC. Metro police weren't happy but the broadcaster decides.
The metro police allowed the 2013 FA Cup QF between Chelsea and Man Utd to be played on Monday 1st of April 2013 on the same day as Fulham v QPR.

Just got back from the game, i'm not bothering to read 60 pages, i can get the jist of it from the last page. i can't believe so many are criticising players or the manager for this game. Pellegrini told us exactly what would be happening prior to the game, it was essentially an exhibition game and you can't take much if anything away from that game. The kids gave a good account of themselves in the first half but couldn't maintain that level and fell to a vastly superior side in the second half.

Fans were in top form today. Proper away day that. with no moaners in the crowd and plenty that were just up for a laugh singing and even mocking ourselves like the days from before the takeover and before we started to turn into rags. Would love a similar atmosphere at Wembley but there's ero chance of that happening

You can't mention him and those you have in the same sentence Marvin.

He was shocking today as were many of our players including some of the youngsters that's the main reason why we got smashed.

His confidence is rock bottom but I would say he wasn't helped by a back four that was AWOL for much of the game.

Unless Joe gets injured he has played his last game for us , we need a much better quality keeper to put more pressure on Joe to raise his game to a higher level than he is at presently.

I was all for playing him in the final as its been MP's policy to play him in cup domestic cup games but if we want to prevent a cricket score against Liverpool in the final we need Joe in the sticks but in saying that if he left exposed by a back four that has lost the art of defending under this tired manager who has also regressed significantly in the past two seasons it won't matter that much we will get tonked.

It was an exhibition all right , in how far we have regressed as a team and how easy we are to open up under this manager.

49 times we have conceded 2 or more goals under this man's watch and it will 50 come Wednesday.

That is a shocking stat and like you I can see #50 coming Sunday. I just can't see how we are going to handle the energy of Liverpool's midfield especially if Coutinho is playing.
