It was a bit more than that mate, he took a full step right, it certainly didn't work, what a shame eh lol

Because Kev pauses to adjust his stride just before he strikes it. Any normal player would look to go near post from that body position but not Kevin de Bruyne. He has the balance, vision and technique to still send that arcing beyond 99% of keepers with such little back-lift.

The way he has the ball under his spell without even needing to take a touch is mesmerising every time I see him play live. Most players control the ball with their feet, he uses his mind.
