First Shaun Wright Phillips. Then Bridge. Now Parker. Who's next? Steve Sidwell?

We're turning slowly but surely into Chelsea Reserves, but this is no bad thing as far as I'm concerned. Isn't this EXACTLY how Chelsea started off in the transfer window when Abramovic took over? Buying good English players alongside world stars.

Copying Chelsea makes perfect sense. They have provided the blueprint of what to do when your club suddenly becomes the richest in the world.

There will be better players on the way this month. Bridge and Parker underwhelm many, but this is the reason they are first through the door. The superstars take more time, because you have a lot of sponsorship deals to sort out. I think as January progresses, the signings will get bigger.

I'm feeling surprisingly positive about City today.

spot on

Bridge was first choice when they last won the league I thought?

SWP played a lot more under Jose than when they won nowt, and Parker was signed by Jose for about £10M.

They cost £7M, £21M and £10M before ADUG inflation, some may say we got a slight bargin when fees are disclosed.

Weren't Bridge and Parker signed by Ranieri? And they completely flopped at Chelsea.

dont mind having players linked with chelsea.. aslong as we dont get someone like mutu oor kezman ..
a lampard or a drogba would be nice

If hughes approves of this, i think when the lads are together before training for example, wayne should have a word with the lads and explain it takes time to gel and become successful, i know they already know all that but bridge has been there and done it and had first hand experience of it all with the chelsea Abramovic revolution, also i think it would take some pressure of the team

drogba or anelka please.

moody bastard that he is, i'd still love to see anelka back at City. he's a money grabbing swine- but i think anyone who comes to play for us at present could be accused of that. love to see him amongst a City team that has some top players in (no disrespect to the Goat). could it ever happen?

Bridge & Parker where 2 of Mourinho's first signing's

Bridge 7M From Southampton
Parker 11M From Charlton

Parker never got going tbh where as Bridge was a vital member of the first team in there first sucessfull year

If Bridge and SWP are Chelsea reserves then it tells you how long we have got to go before being on level terms with them.

Mutu is a good player and he scored a few before taking coke and fucking up!
