In your genuine honest opinion, you think Mahrez is "on par" with Hazard?

Mahrez?

I mean, really?

Hazard is a bit of a show pony and why he turns it on when he wants looks good in the eye is why he gets all the praise like I said stats very similar to Mahrez.

His goals and assists stats are actually better. Obviously as an all round player Hazard is better.

Hazard obviously has to improve his goal scoring output, but anyone who watches Chelsea every week would tell you that the influence he has on games is incredibly consistent. He is the man of the match incredibly regularly - I think reducing the conversation to just stats is doing him a huge disservice, which is why you haven't seen me in here harping on about his sudden upturn in goals scoring form - he's such a massive game-changer for us, his impact/influence far exceeds how many goals/assists he has IMO:

Not that Mahrez is a poor player. He's a wonderfully gifted player, one that I would have loved at Chelsea, but with respect, I think Mahrez himself would laugh you out of the room if you compared him to Hazard.

Hazard will score lots of goals this season under Sarri. I can see him winning player of the season again.

I certainly hope so, but I'm not getting ahead of myself yet.

But the fact that Sarri turned Insigne and Callejon into borderline elite players last season has me day-dreaming about the kind of impact he could have on Hazard.

I know what you mean regarding the stats, we have a little magician who is the same in.
