However, The Times are reporting that Chelsea's new owners have identified 'an area of concern' in relation to the club's tax affairs while looking over their purchase of the Premier League side.

The report goes on to claim that the issue is said to be related to withheld money. However, any money potentially owed to the club would only make a small dent in the £100m withheld by Boehly.

Lukaku aside from an average time at Everton over a few short seasons has been poor in the PL. Thank god we never splashed nearly £100m on this lump.

He was effective at West Brom, IIRC. Didn’t he score a hat trick in GPC's last game (5-5, wasn’t it)?

Maybe I'm too blinkered, but lukaku has always been a player who is just not done it for me. Ive never rated him, just seems too clumsy to be a proper striker somehow.
