Class at Brighton.
Absolutely. No argument from me on that point. But he's had a mare of a start at Chelsea. Hence, "current form". Being excellent at a club like Brighton is one thing; carrying it on at a club the size of Chelsea (where expectations are much higher) is something else altogether. Cucurella found that out.

After the Liverpool and West Ham games, which I felt I we played really well in, I’d hoped we’d go on a winning run with what looks like a run of winnable fixtures on paper. So yeah, deeply disappointing to lose today. Still early in the season, but losing games like this makes me question whether we have it in us to get top 4.
Chelsea fans would expect to win their next four League games, since thereafter it becomes arguably tougher. Will presumably take Pochettino some time to figure out who he wants and can trust to play, yet keeping so many happy will be another challenge for him. Think it will be a long season with many teams in the mix.

They would have expected to win today!
