Opposite wetherspoons in sale there's a chinese that does the all you can eat. He fucking regretted letting me in there because they had hot and sour soup. Had about 2 pints of it. Crispy duck with pancake rolls. I can eat my own bodyweight in that stuff. If he thought giving us small plates was going to stop me eating a ton of grub he was badly mistaken.

I wish you hadn't posted this. I am certain that the next time my crispy duck turns up, my enjoyment will be greatly diminished in the knowledge that it is, in fact, a 'lie'.

I know I would enjoy the whole experience a great deal more if I was eating meat that was unfit for human consumption. I assume you won't be watching the game tonight as this too is a 'lie'. REAL football is played by hungover men with beer bellies on Hough End.

I spent 24 hours sat on a Beijing toilet seat ( i was at least lucky enough at that point of the visit to have a seat and not a hole in the floor...my god the thought of enduring that night over a fucking hole still haunts me.............) 5 years ago. I lived off rice, McDonalds and Pizza Hut for the remaining 3 weeks of the trip. To be fair I thought the choice of food was endless, but I had no idea what 3/4's of it was (and thats a fair estimate) and most of it looked fucking rancid.

Surely the best banquets are in China town no? I know Rusholme is for the masses and tourists and that but I remember going for 8 course meals in China town and loving every bit of them in the 90's. Went for a meal in China town last year when back and thought it were still brill (then again, thats in comparison to the complete dog shit they serve here in the U.S).
