Chris Bailey - a disgrace!

How the fook does Robinho warrant a mark of five in his MEN ratings today.

I'm starting to become right pissed off at the amount of people who have it in for Robbie in recent weeks and there now appears to be a real agenda to force this boy out.

People need to start asking themselves why the 'buzz' word is to stick the knife into him at every opportunity.

Yesterday, I really felt for him, he ran himself into the ground and tracked back and covered Zab time and again.

It's clear he was desperate to get on the scoresheet and I would suggest he is trying TOO hard at the mo.

Chris Bailey and other papers this morn again questioned his desire, one thing definitely on show on Sunday.

This is a young kid who has scored 12 goals in his first season - three goals behind Ronaldo (who scored six in his first year) in the most physical league in the world.

Robbie doesn't exactly possess the frame (yet) to totally compete and make the progression he wants more than anyone else.

The only thing which I can see being thrown at him is his price tag - something out of his control - as are his wages. Nobody can say he hasn't proved a better buy than Berbatov.

I finally cracked yesterday when a guy behind spent the entire game laying in to him - telling him he was shit ' the worst player ever to pull on a blue shirt'

Anyone who thinks the fans of Manure, Chelsea, Liverpool, media, are slagging him off because they can see he is holding poor old City back and just want the best for us are deluded.

It is done because Robbie being at City has put noses out of joint and he reprsents our challenge to the old guard.

Now I fear a significant minority of blues are also deluded.

Ask themselves how we will be perceived by others (included those in media who already take delight in doing us down) if Robbie is forced out - and to other players we are trying to sign.

Little old City, not big enough to keep a player like Robinho etc etc.

I told him to shut it and realise how lucky he was to see such a world class talent in a City shirt - Brazil's number ten - and how he'd rather have Ricky Holden running down the wing like the good old days.

Imagine what Robbie will be like when he has seriously good players around him.

In a Manure, or any other top four team, he'd have had 20 goals already.

All I hope is my fellow blues will put an arm around this kid, before it's too late to realise how much of a good thing we were actually on to.

100% Spot on, fucking superb post!

City arent allowed a player of Robs quality and it's pissed the mongs off big time, tragedy is that they've actually managed to turn a lot of blues against Robinho by simply lying about him!

What makes me sad, is how many blues are starting to believe the ragmedia lies.

Yep, the irony will be that when we sell Robinho the same clowns who slate him will be whining we sold him for less than he's worth!

I hope we never sell him, but I fear you might be right.

IMHO the way he took that pen showed he coudn't care less

That's bollocks but I don't doubt a lot of blues feel that way. His penalty just showed how lacking in confidence he is

I can go with that. what I will say though is I never shout or moan at him during the game that is 100% support to the team the manager picks time.

he did one thing wrong yesterday and that was miss a penalty, i was getting seriously pissed off on the way home listening to loads of people slagging him off on the radio

I totaly agree City supporters slagging him off on the raidio they forget when they where cheering him a few months ago against stoke. The lad has lost hi confidence in scoring and he thought a goal even a penalty would bring it back. How is the Club going to attract quality players if our supporters treat them this way.

i dont think there has ever been as much pressure put on an individual city player as robinho has had to endure.
no wonder some of his performances are below the fans unrealistic expectations. i dont think any top quality player can perform at his very best on every occasion, maybe the fans should realise this.
i am guilty of hanging my head at some of the things i see him do, but i remember then that i am very lucky indeed to have the chance to watch him do anything in a city shirt.
i woleheartedly agree with the op and would urge the city crowd not to be so smalltime. maybe its hard after so many years of mediocre performances, but its the real deal this time and the next 5 years will be so exciting, just thinking about it is getting me aroused..... wife, get up them stairs!!

Fucking hell glad to see i was not the only one arguing with city fans yesterday ! on the subject of robbie.

Bet you my months pay the lads you arguing with wasnt as big as this meat head i was having ago at..

Just like to say sorry to those who had the miss pleasure of standing near me in 116 i was far to drunk i didnt even know city had scored ! not only that.... i sed to my mate "looks like boj is coming on" he sed "you tit hes just getting subbed"
Far to drunk..........

Christ, I thought he had a decent game yesterday. Not world beating sure, but pretty decent.

He's going through a bad patch due to a lack of confidence. It happens to the best of players. The fans giving him stick are a fucking disgrace. Its as simple as that.
Couldn't have put it better. He is absolutely desperate for a goal and anyone who can't see that should have their season tickets taken off them.

These are the sort of fans who thought Joey Barton was a great player and would idolise players like Lee "Clogger" Cattermole because he puts in 100% effort every game.

Robbie's been linked to certain illegal deposits that are, in fact, directly responsible for the worldwide banking crisis. He could sort out the Palestinian issue if he could be arsed. Certain accusations are about to hit the papers about his links to Bin Laden & the Taliban.

He's to blame for every bad thing thats ever happened.

This is all too true. It is a shame that the fate of the world hangs in balance and yet he is a lazy Brazilian. :)
On Chris Bailey, I bet he did not even watch the game, instead he was at home crying over his loss at Fulham.
